About Us

Pansardo, LLC  has deep roots in Sardinia, the Italian Longevity Island, one of just 5 “Blue Zones” in the world where residents live unusually long and healthy lives; we are a Sardinian family run business, the Cocco family, based in Bonita Springs, FL.

Pansardo is the US branch of its Italian parent company, Reparo srl, who is one of the top 4 Italian exporters of sheep and goat cheese and has long-standing connections with farms and bakeries across Sardinia and Italy to produce the best-quality cheese and baked goods!

At Pansardo, we are dedicated to bringing the aromatic flavors of our island and blue zone lifestyle to the United States by selling our Sardinian and Italian products to regional distributors, major retailers and ecommerce companies, small gourmet grocery stores and restaurants! Pansardo also provides with its current team all necessary support to related long established Deliziosi LLC importing company in order to serve the national market.

Where is Sardinia?

Sardinia (Sardegna in Italian) is the second largest Italian island that sits right in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea!

Sardinia is one of the most ancient geological lands in the world (about 600 million years old!), as a result our island is full of mystique and wonder, most of it left still unknown!

Meet the Sarda sheep

The Sarda is the sheep breed native to our island of Sardinia, there are more than 3 million of them making Sardinia one of the islands with the highest sheep densities in the world! The Sarda is primarily a milking sheep, and the majority of our cheeses are made using their milk!

The Sarda sheep graze freely and exclusively feed on the wild, aromatic pastures of Sardinia which are rich in nutrients and minerals like potassium and phosphorus. These necessary nutrients get passed onto the cheese we produce resulting in a cheese that is high in Omega-3 fatty acids, Conjugated Linoleic Acid (Omega-6), Vitamins A, E and antioxidants.

With the amount of healthy nutrients in our cheese, it is no wonder that it is a staple in the Sardinian Blue Zone Longevity Diet!
